NADIA ROSE is taking the stage next Saturday for AFROPUNK 2017 at the Printworks. The south London skill-stress’ meteoric rise to grimedom is at a pinnacle with her debut album Highly Flammable released this year. The contagious track SKWOD has been used in mainstream commercials and on protest marches. Not one to shy away from opportunity, she signed to Sony, replaced Azealia Banks at a major festival, she’s covered most major UK festival dates and just back from a stint at Glastonbury – not a bad 12 months for this inner-city rapper from Croydon. Quick-witted, fearless and unique verbatim stands out in her tracks and her stage persona. One not to be missed!
In just a few days Willow Smith, JME, Saul Williams, Jazzie B, Nadia Rose Thundercat, Lianne Las Havas, NAO, Little Simz, Petite Noir, Sate, Blacktronica, Hannah Faith, Mahalia, Big Freedia, Kojey Radical, The Heavy, Clara Amfo, Danny Brown, Black Orchid, The OBMGS, Jamz Supernova and a special guest to be revealed. Other music will be provided by collectives Jazz re:freshed, Born N Bread, Fam and Gal-Dem. Join us this year as we cover London’s most unique festival to date.
